As a licensed clinical social worker, Mrs. Currie provides client-centered counseling services designed to support healing, resilience, and overall well-being. She holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from Simmons College and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and minor in Healthcare management from American InterContinental University, combining clinical expertise with strong leadership in private practice. In addition to her professional work, she mentors college students in their final year of social work programs, helping to guide the next generation of mental health professionals. Mrs. Currie is deeply committed to giving back to her community, volunteering through her church and offering pro bono mental health services to first responders and veterans in need. A former member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW), she has also contributed to the field through writing, with her poem “Missing You” published in Helpful Living Magazine and a co-authored article, “Colonized Therapy: The Harm You Unknowingly Cause Your BIPOC Clients,” featured in a NASW Fall/Winter issue. Outside of her practice, she enjoys creative and adventurous pursuits such as sewing and motorcycle riding. Married for 16 years, Mrs. Currie is a proud mother of one son and one daughter, and a grandmother to one granddaughter, balancing her professional achievements with a strong commitment to family and community life.
